What is your return policy?
We are happy to accept your returns, with certain conditions of course. Most importantly, all returns need to be received by us within 30 days of the day they were delivered to you. For the complete details, please refer to our Return Policy.
What material are the covers made from?
Except for Cahier journals, the covers are actually made of a vinyl (PVC) material with a leather pattern embossed on them. Cahier journals have covers made of cardboard.
Where can I buy a Moleskine locally?
We are an independent online retailer, so we don’t have that type of information.
Do you have a physical store where I can shop?
Moleskines.com is an Internet store with warehouse & office facilities, but we do not have a showroom or store. Since our customers are unable to visit us in person, we have gone to great lengths to provide a great deal of product information and photos on our website.
Do you have a printed catalog?
At this time, we do not have a printed catalog.
I live outside the U.S. – can you ship to me?
At this time, we only ship to the U.S. and Canada. We hope to add shipping service to additional countries in the future.
Where do you ship from?
We ship from the Dallas, Texas area. We are centrally located in the U.S., so most orders are delivered pretty quickly. Our average delivery time for Standard Shipping is 2.7 business days!

Can I change or cancel an order I’ve already placed?
If your order has not yet shipped, we will be happy to help you. However, once your order has been shipped, no changes or cancellations can be made.
How can I get a coupon code?
Join our email newsletter and you will receive coupons in your email periodically, along with new product announcements and other promotions. There is a signup form at the bottom of this page. Also, we may send out coupons with your shipment for use on future orders.

How do you pronounce the name of the product, Moleskine?
Well, technically, in Italian the pronunciation guide is (mol-eh-sken'-ah). But, we also hear (mol-skin) and (mol-sken). Don’t worry - no matter how you say it, we’ll understand.
Do you offer wholesale or bulk discounts?
We do offer additional discounts for orders of 100+ pieces of a single product. Contact us by phone or email for a quote.
Do you offer a student / teacher / military / etc. discount?
Regrettably, we are unable to offer special discounts to certain groups or associations. We receive a ton of requests from different groups and it wouldn’t be fair for us to pick just a few. I've never bought a Moleskine before - which one should I buy?
There are many factors to consider. First, what size makes the most sense for you? Will you want this to fit into a breast pocket or a purse? If so, then consider a pocket size book. Do you want the flexibility of a Cahier notebook, or do you need the more rugged wear of a hard cover Moleskine? Finally, what page format well best suit your needs? You may want lines in order to keep orderly lists or notes; or, you may prefer squared pages for diagrams, map-making, etc. Our professional staff is always available to help you determine which book may best suit your needs.
When are planners available?
18-month planners typically become available in late spring each year. The 12-month weekly and daily planners become available in early fall. In order to maximize the best availability and selection, we highly recommend you order early.
What happens if an item I purchased is on backorder?
Most backordered items are shipped within 7-10 days. If you an item you ordered is on backorder, we will notify you by email. We typically hold an order until it is complete before shipping, but if you need the remainder of your order before then, contact us and we will ship it at no additional cost.
What happens if an item I purchases in on pre-order?
When you pre-order a product, we reserve inventory from our incoming shipment for you. Your credit card will not be charged for the pre-order until it ships to you. If you order in-stock items along with the pre-order, the in-stock items will be shipped immediately and the pre-order items when available.
Did we misspell Cahier – shouldn’t it be Cashier?
The name Cahier is actually correct - pronounced \kä-ya\. The word is of French origin, meaning paper-book.
Do they make the Music Notebook in a larger size?
At the current time, Moleskine is only making this notebook available in a pocket size format. However, should that change, we will make the larger books available as soon as they are released to us.
